Dancers need to arrive, ready to go, at 5:40pm – as soon as the show is done at Highland Estates we will go directly to the next performance
Performance at The Warren House, 1301 Bennet Ave., Burley 7:00pm



There will be no class for Tiny Tots or Kidz due to the performances

Julie asked me to let everyone know that the ticket prices have been set:

Adults: $8.00

Children (age 4-12): $5.00

Senior Citizens: $6.00

VIP Seating: $12.00 (front middle section of the theater)

Unadvertised Family Special: 2 adults and 3 (or more) Children: $30.00

Tickets are available at the studio for students to pick up and sell.

Tickets are also available at Welch Music in Burley and The Book Store in Rupert. Send all of your friends and family in to pick up their tickets before the performance!

Remember to get out there and sell the advertising, it not only helps pay for the production, but also helps fill the seats so we can shine for more people!

SCHEDULE FOR NOVEMBER & DECEMBER – TIGHTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS!!! YOU CAN BREATHE IN JANUARY!

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IT IS CRUCIAL FOR ALL DANCERS TO ATTEND ALL OF THEIR CLASSES, EXTRA CLASS, MAKEUP CLASSES AND PERFORMANCES IN THE COMING. I KNOW THAT IT’S AN EXTREMELY BUSY TIME OF YEAR BUT PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IT TAKES EVERYONE TO BE RESPONSIBLE IN DOING THEIR PART FOR THE PERFORMANCES, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY FOR ‘HOPE IS BORN’ TO RUN SMOOTHLY AND BE A SHOW THAT THE COMMUNITY WILL WANT TO ATTEND AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. 15th (Tuesday)           Kinderkidz will have class from 4:00 – 5:30pm
                                  Kidz will have class from 5:00 – 6:30pm
Senior Company: Performance for Mr. MHS, Minico High School 7:00pm Performing ‘Human Nature’. Meet me in the foyer area over by the gym doors at 7:00pm. We perform a little later in the show.


16th (Wednesday)     Tiny Tots: regular class from 5:00 – 6:00pm
                                 Kidz ballet will run from 6:00 – 7:00pm
                                 Teens will have class 6:30 – 7:45pm due to Thanksgiving cancellation



17th (Thursday)         Teens will have regular class from 5:30 – 6:45pm


19th (Saturday)         Senior Company practice 8:00am – 12:00pm


22nd (Tuesday)         Kinderkidz will have class from 4:00 – 5:30pm    
                                 Kidz will have class from 5:00 – 6:30pm
                                 Tiny Tots will have class from 6:15 – 7:15pm???


23rd (Wednesday)       Tiny Tots…Miss Aubrie will determine whether class will be held (We need to take into account our performance for the Rupert Caring and Sharing Christmas Tree Festival the following Monday!)


24th (Thursday)      All Classes cancelled – Happy Thanksgiving!


28th (Monday)      Performance at the Rupert Caring and Sharing Christmas Tree Festival
                             Rupert Civic Center 6:00pm. Dancers need to arrive, ready to go, at 5:30pm sharp!
                             See performance sheet for dances/classes that will be participating in this show.

29th (Tuesday)      Kinderkidz will have class from 4:00 – 5:30pm
                             Kidz will have class from 5:00 – 6:30pm

30th (Wednesday) Tiny Tots: regular class from 5:00 – 6:00pm
                             Kidz ballet will run from 6:00 – 7:00pm
                             Teens will have class from 6:30 – 7:45 pm



DECEMBER SCHEDULE



1st (Thursday)      Teens class cancelled due to class on Wednesday 30th unless practice is needed.
                            Miss Aubrie will determine that and let you know.

2nd (Friday)        Performance at Burley’s Festival of Trees
        CSI - Burley Campus Gym 7:00pm – Dancers need to arrive, ready to go, at 6:30pm sharp! (Same show as in Rupert)

6th (Tuesday)       Kinderkidz will have class from 4:00 – 5:30pm
                            Kidz will have class from 5:00 – 6:30pm

7th (Wednesday)
                            There will be no class for Tiny Tots or Kidz due to the performances.

10th (Saturday)         Hope is Born full cast run-thru and finale’ rehearsal at the studio 9:00am -12:00pm  Attendance is mandatory for all students!
                              Students need to be in their class dancewear. No costumes.

13th (Tuesday)       Senior Company: BHS Varsity ½ time performance. Performing ‘Human Nature’.
                             Meet in the practice gym promptly at 7:00pm with your hair done and makeup on.
                             Kinderkidz will have class from 4:00 – 5:30pm
                             Kidz will have class from 5:00 – 6:30pm

14th (Wednesday) Tiny Tots: regular class from 5:00 – 6:00pm
                             Kidz ballet will run from 6:00 – 7:00pm
                             Teens will have class from 6:30 – 7:45pm due to dress rehearsal on Thurs 15th

15th (Thursday)   Hope is Born – Full Dress Rehearsal –
Attendance is mandatory for all students!
                           King Fine Arts Center 5:00pm…more detailed info will be given to you the last week of November.
16TH (Friday)        ‘Hope is Born’ - evening performance – 7:00pm

17th (Saturday)       ‘Hope is Born’ – matinee performance – 2:00pm



Note: I’m trying to set up a time to have class pictures taken in their Christmas costumes. I haven’t been able to get in touch with Abrey (Abrey Adams Photography) as yet….left messages but haven’t heard back from her. I’ll let you know as soon as I get it scheduled.



Christmas vacation dates: Dec 19th – 30th. Classes will resume the week of January 2nd. Happy Holidays!

Hip Hop Session Rescheduled

Due to circumstances beyond all control :),  the hip hop choreography classes scheduled for Oct. 22 have been cancelled.

Stay tuned for rescheduling information.

Senior’s and Junior’s,

are you ready to get your HIP HOP on??

Gina Underwood will be at the Studio Saturday, October 22^nd to do Hip Hop Choreography.  She has worked with some of the girls in the past and we are very lucky to have her expertise again this year!

Junior Class will be in the morning and Senior’s in the afternoon.  Exact times are still being worked out, so watch for further information.

The cost of the class will be approximately $35 dollars, again watch for more information to follow.

Please put this date on your calendar! We need all of you to come have some fun and learn from the best.

September is gone and Christmas is coming fast!!

DanCe, daNCe, DaNCe

A big ‘Welcome Back’ to all of you returning dancers and a huge ‘Welcome’ to the new ones.  We are looking forward to a great year of dancing, fun, learning, growing and maybe even a few tears as you learn what it takes to become really great dancers!

As usual September has been a frazzled month that has flown by too fast!  It is always such a huge chore for Julie to get all of the class times set up so it works out in the best possible way for the teachers, students and parents.  Sometimes I think she is a magician to get it all done! But she always seems to make it happen.

Now that the craziness of September is behind us, it is time for everyone to settle into their new schedules and work hard on learning all of the new dances.  Christmas is just around the corner (only 11 weeks until the Christmas program!)

Julie asked me to let you know that the clothing items ordered for the Kinderkids class should be in today (9/28) and can be picked up at the studio tonight between 5 and 6.  If this does not work for you, they will be available next week during class, or call Julie to make other arraignments.

I think that is all for now, just remember to keep working at home so that you can ‘wow’ your teacher with what GREAT dancers you are all becoming!

Junior Company Competition Changes

The Junior Company is working it's way to becoming a full competition team!  With this step comes some additional expense and compromise.
With input from many of the parent's.  Julie has come to the decision that the girls will do an introductory competition schedule this year.  They will compete 3 numbers in 3 competitions.  This will give them some great experience and education in the system, while not overwhelming them and keeping costs down.
If you child is in the Junior Company, you should have received an e-mail with the information and payment options. 
If you did not receive this e-mail, please make sure Julie has your correct e-mail address and pick up a copy of the information in the Studio.

Let's Dance!!

Sadly, summer is coming to its inevitable end.  The county fairs are over, pools are closing and the days are getting shorter.  Although we all mourn the end of another summer, there is one bright spot on the horizon, Dance time is drawing near!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  I am Shannon Preece, a dance mom just like all of you.  I am not Julie Goodfellow, but I am creating this informational site at her request and with her full knowledge and cooperation.

The purpose of this site is to take one burden off of Julie so that she can concentrate on her many other responsibilities, while we as dance parents can still stay informed.  I will be in contact with Julie and be updating this information at least monthly, more often as needed because as we all know in the dance world, things change.

Although Julie will be seeing this information, this is not her site; it is a site for the dance parents.  Please do not try to contact Julie directly through these communications, I will try to get any information forwarded to her, but it will be a much slower process.  Continue to contact Julie in the traditional way.
